He is survived by: his children, Darren Rigney (Buffy) of Providence, KY and Melissa Rigney Stairs (Pooh) of Murray, KY; his brothers, Carlos Rigney (Lorna) of Indiana, Reggie Rigney (Pam) of Greeneville, TN and Terry Rigney of Big Stone Gap, VA; his grandchildren, Rachel, Travis Rigney, Lynsey, Logan and Lucas Stairs; his great grandchildren, Lawrence Nathaniel Rigney and Gwenivere Imara Rigney; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Aurora Ashae Hodges.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the TRI City Funeral Home (506 Holly St, Benham, KY 40807). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
