With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sammy West of Providence, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on July 25, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sammy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam West, Jr. and Kommie Guess West; and his brother Keith Allen West. He is survived by: his children, Brian West (Kelly) of Dixon, KY and Estee Hendrickson (Josh) of Sebree, KY; his grandchildren, Zach West and Emma Harmon; and his close friend Joni Bourland. He is also survived by his kids and grandkids and never missed his son.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (700 Langley Ave, Providence, KY 42450). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
