She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Greenwell and Alice Crask Greenwell; and her husband Claude Drury Melton. She is survived by: her children, Samantha Kelley (Jeff) of Dixon, KY, Mary Ray (Jamie) of Providence, KY and Charles Melton of Madisonville, KY; her grandchildren, Joshua Charles Melton, Jordan Kelley (Dara), Adleigh Ray, Isabella Hardesty, Delaney Kelley and Zach Ray (Melanie); and her great grandchildren, Rian and Leilanie.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Church (501 S Broadway St, Providence, KY 42450). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery (1860 W 9th St, Owensboro, KY 42303).
