He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Harris Thompson and Henry Thompson, Jr. of Evarts; his siblings, Levi Thompson, Walter Thompson and Geneva "Jenny" Thompson; and his pet Charlie.
He is survived by: his brother Henry Ed Thompson (Darla); his nieces, Willa Rachel Belt (James) and Candie Pace (Mark); his great-niece Lily Belt; and his cousin Lisa Middleton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evarts Funeral Home (119 Bridge St, Evarts, KY 40828). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home (119 Bridge St, Evarts, KY 40828).
