Charles leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Charles will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Black and Dorothy Black; and his sister Ruth Lee. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Black; his children, Christian Black, Calen Black, Natasha Black (Orlando Garcia) and Jacob Black; his stepson Joshua Hall (Allison); and his sister Nikki Wheatley (Ryan Mattingly). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chism Family Funeral Home (769 Highland Ave, Vine Grove, KY 40175). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160).
