He was predeceased by : his wife Ann Moore; his daughter Penny Conyers; and his grandson Brian Hale. He is survived by : his daughter Katy Day (Gary); and his grandchildren, Dustin Quinteros, Virgil Whitaker, Danny Whitaker and Eugenia Thomas. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren.
