With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Mae Yancey of Radcliff, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Virginia Mae's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Virginia Mae has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Bailey and Gussie Bailey; and her children, Vernon Calvin Yancey, Jr. and Valarie Yvette Yancey. She is survived by: her children, Tony Yancey (Denise) of Radcliff, KY, Doris Jean Wrenn of Hampton, VA and Pamela Mae Yancey-Bell (Steven) of Virginia Beach, VA.; her goddaughters, Myla Dildy and Susie Johnson; and her sisters, Louise Baker, Mary Ann Bailey and Betty Jean Gray (John). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
