He is survived by: his children, Billy Joe Hatfield Jr. (Kelly) of Lenore, WV and Pam Hatfield of Ransom, KY; his daughter-in-law Devona Hatfield of Phelps, KY; his grandchildren, Billy Joe Hatfield III, James Oliver Cory Hatfield, Dustin Joseph Hatfield (Jamie Anderson) and Ashley Dawn Collins (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Lylah Grace Marie Hatfield, Lucas Eugene Collins and Ashton Jameson Collins; his brothers, Bob Hatfield (Linda) of Hardy, KY, Lucas "Luke" Hatfield Jr. (Brenda) of Sidney, KY and Ronald Dale; his pet Betty; and his sister Ruth Marie Estep of Ransom, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel (144 Toler Rd, Toler, KY 41514). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
