He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Hunt Richardson; his parents, Willard Richardson (Louise Tuttle Richardson) and Louise Richardson; his siblings, Robert, Wilma and Lynn; Joan Hunt Richardson.
He is survived by: his children, James Willard Richardson III and Rebecca Barker (Owen); his grandson Ryan Hunter FreemanHis (Raiven); his great grandchildren, Walker Cole Freeman, Aaliyah Bolin and Myla Mae Freeman; his siblings, Glen Richardson (Faye) and Diana Winkle; and his sister-in-law Janas Richardson.
