He was predeceased by : his son James Richard "Jamie" Blandford; his parents, Joseph Marion and Frances Marie Thompson Blandford; and his brothers, John Polin "Johnny" Blandford and Joseph Richard Blandford.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Thompson Blandford; his children, Joe Blandford (Sissy) of Raywick, Jennifer Courtwright (David) of Jessietown and Jill Abell (Stephen) of Lebanon; and his grandchildren, Thomas Abell, Michael Abell, Daniel Abell, Charlie Blandford, Brennan Blandford, Matthew Courtwright, Nic Courtwright, Honorary, Sarah Abell and Mandy Courtwright. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
