She was predeceased by : her parents, Neal "Slick" Carter and Flora Carter (Robert T. Goldsberry); and her brother William Carter. She is survived by : her children, Shelly Woodard (David) of Reed, KY, Ginger Nelson (Truman) of Henderson, KY, Cindy Koonce (Wayne) of Alabama, Neal Goldsberry (Joyce) of Henderson, KY and Glenn Goldsberry (Donna) of Dixon, KY. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
