With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darrell Collinsworth of Renfro Valley, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Collinsworth and Aline Smith Collinsworth of Renfro Valley; his son John Michael Lee Collinsworth of Mt. Vernon; his grandparents, Alpha, Cloia Wilson Smith of Renfro Valley, William (Willie) and Charlie Anna Cozart Collinsworth of Olive Hill; his nephew Michael Darrell (Tonya Lynn Callahan); and his close friend Jimmy Durham.
He is survived by: his daughters, Koula Verda (Christopher Knox) of Stanton and Cora Gwendolyn Aline (Tony James Adams) of Barbourville Ky; his grandchildren, Charlie Anna Rae Knox, Aaliyah Kay Leann Partin, Brayden Scott McFerron, Delilah Rayne Barnett, Chevy Michael and Nova; his sisters, Diedre Collinsworth-Norton (late Wilburn Lee Norton) of Mt. Vernon and Tamela Alpha Collinsworth of Brodhead; and his siblings' children, Anthony Cummins (Jessi), Andrew Thomas and Callie Thomas.
