It is with sadness that the passing of Ray Alford of Richardsville, Kentucky is shared. Ray, born on November 21, 1928, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cecil Alford, Sr. and Flora Childress Russell; and his wife Etta Mae Russell Alford. He is survived by: his sons, Dan Alford (Linda) of Bowling Green, Richard Alford (Geynita) of Bowling Green, Russell Alford (Debbie) of Bowling Green and Eric Alford (Martha) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Jeremy Alford (Jill), Tiffany Joiner (Joe), Travis Alford (Lily), Harrison Alford and Sarah Tucker (Darius); his great grandchildren, Jacob Alford, Matthew Alford, Bryce Alford, Ava Alford, Finley Alford, Kaylee Joiner and Jackson Joiner; his great great grandchildren, Lyle Alford, Harper Alford and David Alford; his brother Frank Alford; his granddaughter Tillie; and his caregivers, Greg Carroll, Kim Carroll, Chris Gipson and Melanie Vincent. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Richardsville Baptist Church (374 Threlkel Ferry Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Green River Union Cemetery.
