He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia A. Hill Embry; his parents, Roselia Embry and Alex Embry of Richmond; and his sisters, Delores Dunn and Judy Embry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Murphy (Willie) and Alvetta Embry; and his sisters, Sara Embry Huguely, Sandra Embry Harris (Sandy), Maxine Embry Hinton (Roger), Alice Embry Harris (JD) and Elaine Embry. He is also survived by his grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
