He is survived by: his wife Etta Faye; his children, Lene'Schmieder (Ernie Perez) and Todd Schmieder; his grandchildren, Luke Schmieder and Halen Schmieder; his siblings, Dorothy "Dolly" House (Frank) and Gerald "Jerry" Schmieder (Dorty); and his sister-in-law Carol Schmieder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
