We bid farewell to Bonnie Katherine Springer of Richmond, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 25, 2025 at the age of 73. Bonnie Katherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hornback and Novella K. Anderson (Harned); her stepfather Vernon Anderson; and her parents-in-law, Darlene M. Springer and Frank D. Springer.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Springer, Jr.; her siblings, Anita Cohn (Louis), Debbie Shofner (Sheila Kirk), Mike Hornback (Melinda) and Linda Amarant (Paul); her siblings' children, Mickey Cohn (Shelly), Amanda Cohn, Natalie Owen, Scott Shofner (Katie), Michael Hornback (Ambar), Chrissy Davis and Daniel McDonald (Lyndsey); and her pets, Shadoephax, Thorin and Destardee.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at the Custer Cemetery.
