He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry F. Payne and Margaret Bucher Payne; his son Gregory Alan Payne; and his siblings, Rickie Lee Payne and Cheryl Ann Kirby.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Rose Payne; his grandchildren, Jordan Alan Payne, Lauren Faith Mullins (Jason) and Jalan Everette Lee Payne; his great grandchildren, Everly and Elliott Mullins; and his sister Sondra Parke. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
