He is survived by: his mother Wilma Simpson Smith; his wife Connie Rupard Thomas; his children, Curtis Cheeks (Crystal) of Berea, Michael Cheeks of Berea, Dale A. Thomas (Amy) of Bay Minette and Tamara Thomas of Richmond; his siblings, Audie Thomas (Becky), Damon Thomas (Tina), Tammy Hayes (Alan) and Joanna Ray (Tim); his grandchildren, Tyler Cheeks, Beionka Cheeks, Katelyn Cheeks, Tommy Cheeks, Michaelee Cheeks, Abby Blankenship, Raylee Thomas, Casyn Thomas and Houston Thomas; and his great grandchild Lainey Begley. He is also survived by two great grandsons.
