He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Hale and Alice Browning Hale; his wife Carolyn Jean Cox Hale; his siblings, Jimmy Earl Hale, George Burton Hale, Bobby Don Hale and Louise Andes; his granddaughter Eve Gortney; and his great grandchild Tyler Austin Hale.
He is survived by: his daughter Lana Sue Harrison of Paint Lick. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
