He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmon Bicknell and Leona Hymer Bicknell; and his sister Brenda Bicknell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Metcalf Bicknell; his sons, Ken Bicknell (Lisa Beth) and Gregory Bicknell (Nickole); his grandchildren, Logan Bicknell, McKenzie Schneider (Casey), Rylee Bicknell, Karmen Bicknell, Kaitlyn Staples (Dillon) and Amy Bergeron (Cameron); his great grandchildren, Rory Lee Bicknell, Olive J. Schneider and Eleanor Staples; and his brother Mike Bicknell.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home (1110 Barnes Mill Rd, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Hospice Care Plus/ Compassionate Care Center, 350 Isaacs Lane, Richmond, KY 40475.
