The memory of Fanny Rice (Richmond, Kentucky), who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Richardson and Faire Lee Palmer; her husbands, Paul Bowlin, Orville Stapp, Evans Spurlin and Dr. Robert L Rice; her brothers, Billy Richardson, Tommy Richardson and Scoville Richardson; her half-brother Raymond Richardson; and her sister Effie Katherine Peters.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jennifer Bowlin Baker (Brian), Emily Austin Winslow (Frank), Molly Austin, Courtney Bowlin Russell (Patrick), Stephanie Bowlin Sturges (Trevor), Kendall Stapp Hager (Justin), Kelli Jo Gordon (Zac), Shawn Stapp and Lauren Stapp; her great grandchildren, Jack, Ella, Michael Baker, Callahan, Norah, Sadie Russell, Austin, Silas Winslow, Bo David Gordon and Haylin Hager; her sisters, Charlotte Bruestle and Jane Ann Whitaker (Gene Allen); her aunt Mollie; her sons, Steven Bowlin, Michael Stapp, David Stapp, Jimmy Cornelison, Gene Allen Whitaker and Shawn Stapp; and also Richmond Arts.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church (412 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
