He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Allen Rogers and Susan Jane Williams Rogers; his son Thomas Brent Rogers; and his siblings, Oliver Rogers (Maggie), Allen Douglas Rogers (Katherine), Eva Sparks (D. B.), Lucille Pittman (Sol), Opal King (Wayne), Della Benge (Carl), Mary Ruth Witt (Wallace) and Sue Jeanette Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Whittaker; his son Steve Rogers of Richmond; his stepdaughter Charlotte Whittaker of Richmond; his daughter-in-law Susan VanDyke Rogers of Ohio; his grandchildren, Mary Beth Rogers, Jennifer Lynn Rogers and Allison Cable (Jarred); and his great grandchildren, Terra and Logan Cable.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home (328 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
