Gail Silva Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 70, Gail Silva (Richmond, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gail may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her father Glenwood Botkin; and her brother Dale Botkin. She is survived by: her mother Recie Chasteen Botkin; her husband Paul William Silva; her children, Eric Whittemore (Jennifer) and Angela Whittemore; her granddaughter Lauren Whittemore; her siblings, Glen Botkin (Lisa) and Sandra Link (Shannon); and her stepchildren, Daniel Silva and Chelsea Brooks (Logan). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home (328 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
