He was predeceased by: his parents, Greeley B. Long and Louise Moore Long of Newby, Kentucky; his sisters, Pat and Sue Long; his brother-in-law Charles Chambers (Bud); and his friend Randall Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Dana King Long; his daughters, Jeanna Long of Richmond and Jennifer Broaddus (Lucien) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Hall (Cody) of Irvine, Kayleigh Tucker (Boone) of Irvine, Rylee Broaddus of Richmond and Jeffery Angel (Laili) of Irvine; his great grandchildren, Ayden Angel, Aleena Halleran-Angel, Ashton Angel, Jamison Hall and Myles Garrett Tucker; and his siblings, Donna Rhodus (David), Beverly Chambers and Don Long (Janice). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
