She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Thomas "Tommy" Schooler; her parents, David C. Young and Aubrey Marshall Young; and her siblings, David Young, Jr., Bobby Young, Whitey Young, Dorothy Kearns, Betty Martin, Gladys White and Janie Gregory.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Allen (Marty), Cheryl Wall (Tommy), Michelle McClease (Joey) and Carla Schooler-LaFontaine (Christa); and her sisters, Rose Willoughby and Reva Evans. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
