With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold James Hymer of Richmond, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Godfrey Hymer and Almedie Lainhart Hymer; his wives, Minnie Bea Hymer and Geraldine Singer Hymer; his son Justin Hymer of Syracuse, OH; his sisters, Bonnie Cox, Katherine Bach and Laura Harrison; and his nephews, John David Baker, David Mitchell, Daniel Bach and Gary Russell Cox.
He is survived by: his siblings, Johnnie Hymer II (Elaine) of Scott County and Shirley Hymer Ruble of Scott County; his stepson Greg Jones of Dayton, OH; and his grandchildren, Christy Isaacs (Keith) of Berea, KY, Tara Hymer of Mitchell, IN, Nicole Rodriguez (Michael) of Syracuse, IN and Ashley Jones of Franklin, OH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
