He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Kelly and Minnie Newby Kelly; his wife Alma Jean Reynolds Kelly; and his sisters, Mable Curtis and Louise Taylor.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Kelly of Mt. Vernon, Tim Kelly of Richmond, David Kelly (Carmyn) of Richmond and Samuel Kelly (Leslie) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Krystal Gatliff (Curt), Derek Kelly (Brittany), Kalynn Dessenko (Doug), Kristyn Kelly, Alexis Kelly, Madalyn Kelly and Maddox Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Lilee Kelly, Theo Dessenko, Avery Gatliff, Hudson Gatliff, Finlee Dessenko, Kinsley Kelly and Max Dessenko. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
