She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Griffin and Mattie Jane Edmonson Griffin; her great grandchild Jacob Nelson; and her siblings, Bobby Gene "Pete" Dawes, Jackie Griffin and Dorothy Dawes.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry W. Rose; her daughters, Brondalyn Riley (David), Cathy Sparks (Mitchell) and Jerri Sparks (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Philip Riley (Amanda), Taylor Nelson (Tyler), David Sparks (Audrey), Laura Sparks (Lester) and Shane Sparks (Bobbie); her great grandchildren, Reagan Riley (Dakota), Stella Riley, Caleb Nelson, Jonah Nelson, Kylin Sparks, Kenlie Sparks, Autumn Sparks, Weston Sparks and Bennett Sparks; and her brother Harlan JuBall Dawes (Carol). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
