It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyd Clay Kaylor (Richmond, Kentucky), who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Kaylor and Bessie Webb Kaylor; his siblings, Sallie Mae Kaylor Evans (Burley), Johnnie A. Kaylor (Bea), Jessie Lee Kaylor Richardson (Matt), Ray Kaylor (Stella), Parker Kaylor and Juanita Kaylor; and his grandsons, John DeLand Harrison III and Dakota Roy Pingleton.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila T. Kaylor, Vickie L. Pingleton (Fred), Jimmy L. Kaylor (Leeann), Debbie A. Harrison Pschorr (Kenneth), David C. Kaylor (Nancy R.), Tina Pingleton and Nancy Kidd (Tim); and his sister Dorothy Kaylor Childers (Len). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral Home (1110 Barnes Mill Rd, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
