Martin Dee Overstreet Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Dee Overstreet of Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Martin farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Martin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Beverly Jean Overstreet; and his brothers, Roy and Robert Overstreet. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his daughter Sandy Conklin (Andy); his grandchildren, Kenneth Lowe, Angela Lowe and Emily McDonald (Mikey); his great grandchild Millie Mae; and his brother Steve (Sandi). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of a service or flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).
