He is survived by: his cousin Rick; his daughter Megan Sanders Gross (Damien); his grandchildren, Chandler Ace Jett, Noah David Jett, Allison "Allie-Cat" Gross and DJ "Doodles" Gross; his siblings, Carol Sanders Haupt, Pam Kimball, Rick Johnson, Bobby Sanders, Chris Sanders, Joe Johnson, Tammy Johnson, Gary Johnson, Billy Sanders, Judy Gale Gibson, Patsy McBride, Vonda Turpin, Kenny Sanders and Anita Smith; his aunts, Joy Sanders Johnson, Etta Carr Brown and Mary Helen McBride; and his close friends, Garl "Junk" Lovins, Amy Aldridge, Charlie Jones, Norman Haupt, Cody Lovins, Larry West, Tim Kirby, Ronnie Roberts and Tommy Bowen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home (328 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
