She was predeceased by: her parents, Nannie Jackson Kennedy (Walker) and Herbert Kennedy; her husband Paul Jones Ferrell; her sisters, Jeroline Walker Cantrell and Jean Monday; and her granddaughter Renae Latrice Ferrell.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Irvine Ferrell (Newellyn), Paula Jean Ferrell and Robert Kennedy Ferrell (Cathy); her brothers, Marshall Walker (Sondra) and Jerry D Walker; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Cantrell and Sarah Ferrell. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in Ruth's memory to Richmond Predestinarian Baptist Church, 208 E Irvine St Richmond KY 40475.
