He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Marcum and Geneva Tevis Congleton; and his brothers, Robert Congleton, John Congleton (Sally) and Roy Congleton (Tib).
He is survived by: his spouse Darnetta Wells Congleton; his children, Rick Congleton (Wendy), Rob Congleton (Kathy) and Renee Skipworth (Frank); his grandchildren, Kate Congleton, Kyle Congleton (Jenna), Kristin Congleton, Taylor Golden (Mitchell), Brett Congleton (Sarah), Lauren Minter (Chris) and Dwight Carter Skipworth; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Emersyn, Kamiyah and Kyle Wells; his sister Betty Ward (Jesse); his siblings-in-law, Donna Congleton, Dean Wells, Darrell Wells (Wanda) and Martha Wells; and his caregivers, Pam, Kyle and Bailey Cochran. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
