He is survived by: his wife Elaine Shepherd of Roark; his siblings, Donald Shepherd (Gloria) of Owensboro and Betty Shepherd of Roark; his grandchildren, Tessa Morgan, Josh Davidson, Andrew Barrett, Autumn Bowling, Courtney Coots (Ivan) and Charley Couch; his great grandchild Sophia Barrett; his cousins, Sheldon Shepherd and John Wayne Simpson; his nephews, Ben Shepherd and Matt Shepherd; his niece Holly Shepherd; and his close friends, Rodney Morgan and Robbie Horton. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home Chapel (23185 US-421, Hyden, KY 41749). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
