It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kay Daniel of Robards, Kentucky, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorris Elbert and Anna Pearl Cummings; her husband John Danie; and her half-brother Ricky Cummings. She is survived by: her children, Nichole Daniel (Brian) of Robards, KY and Johnny Ray Daniel (Layna); her siblings, Sherry Bray of Metropolis, IL, Terry Keith Cummings (Sarah) of Clay, KY and Glenn Cummings (Ladonna) of Dixon, KY; her grandchildren, Gage, Logan, Kayden, Zander and Scarlett Raye; and her pet Rocky. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Townsend Funeral Home (140 US-41 ALT, Dixon, KY 42409). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
