He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Widener and Thelma Lawson Widener. He is survived by: his wife Opal Widener of Rockholds; his children, Michael Widener (Carol) of Somerset, Larry Widener of Williamsburg and Pam Lawson (Tracy) of Williamsburg; and his sister Nadine Bortz of Somerset. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
