He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest "Buck" Steff Jr. and Hazel Chism Steff; and his wife Connie Taylor Steff. He is survived by: his son Ernie W. Steff (Stephanie) of Roundhill, KY; and his grandchildren, Emma Grace, Ernest Cole and Zackary Clay Steff.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42755). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
