It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Gollihue of Rush, Kentucky, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Prince and Pearlie Wilburn Prince; her former husband Ed Martin; her husband Beecher C. Gollihue; her son James Gollihue; and her brothers, Vernon Reacel Prince and Arnold Prince.
She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Carter Slaughter (Daniel) of Rush; her grandchildren, Jordan Leighann Smith, James Thomas Smith and Isabella Danielle Slaughter; and her siblings, Wanda M. Prince of Pikeville, Ella Faye Parker of Wilson Creek, Marie Bush of Grayson, Jean McGuire (Raymond) of Grayson, Raymond Prince (Karen) of Oldtown, Delbert Prince (Rhonda) of Georgetown and Elwood Prince of Flatwoods.
