It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Fannin of Rush, Kentucky, born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Erskine Edward and Mildred Marie Burke Fannin; his former life partner Carolyn Sue Douglas Fannin; his son-in-law Melvin Edward "Rocky" West; his grandson-in-law Chad Jahnke; his niece Kimberly Gail Fannin Opel; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Shaffers, Juanita Douglas, Donna Douglas, Johnny Wilburn, John Shaffers, Bob Douglas and Frank Douglas of Herman Douglas, T. R.

He is survived by : his nephew Roy Ray Fannin, Jr.; his fiancée Angela Barker Thomas; his daughters, Angela Thomas (Jeff) of Rush and Susan West of Rush; his granddaughters, Bobbi Henry (Caleb), Sarah Marshall (Josh) and Brandi Jahnke; his great grandchild Samuel Chad Edward Jahnke; his siblings, Brenda Faye Campbell (Bruce) of Rush, Linda Jean Blevins (Paul) of Grayson, Roy Ray Fannin (Gail) of Grayson, Billy Joe Fannin (Robin) of Grayson and Paul Edward Fannin (Kathy) of Rush; his daughter Gloria Blair; his siblings-in-law, Crystal (Linda) and Lad; and his stepchildren, Patrick (Bama), Michael (Wendy), William (Candiss) and Sarge (Latitia). He is also survived by several step-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, friends.
