He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Salley and Holmes Salley; his wife Janet Deal Salley; and his siblings, Luther Salley, Verna Salley Johnson and Francis Salley.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis E. Salley of Rush, Kentucky and Deborah Salley Blevins of Argillite, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Shannon Salley (Cyndi), Alison Blevins-Lauhon, Brandon W. Salley, Justin W. Blevins and Shane Salley (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Ashlee Salley, Cheyenne Wilburn, Damien Lauhon, Carlee Cooper, Zoe Lauhon and Hannah Salley; and his great great grandchildren, Titus, Oaklee, Westley and Walker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
