He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debra Fields Haney; his parents, John L. Haney and Naomi Barber; his children, John Haney Jr. (Kristen) and Tina Haney Klaiber (Stephen); his grandchildren, Bryant Combs, William Washington Jr., Joseph Robinson, Vyctoria LaShea Robinson and Wyatt Parker Haney; and his great grandchildren, Gage, Logan and Rohen. He was also cherished by fifteen siblings.
