He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rehmel and LaDonna Powell Rehmel; his grandson Todd; his great grandchild Skyler; and his son-in-law Paul Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Owens Rehmel; his children, Donna Rehmel Lucas (Anthony) of Rush, Hap Ray "Junior" Kitchen (Vickie) of North Liberty, Terri Rhoden (Jeff) of Argillite, Jean Schmidt of Grayson and Anita Kitchen of Burnaugh; his sisters, Darlene "Pete" Dajarnatt of Sturgis and Debbie Gibson of South Bend; his grandchildren, Billy, Laura, Kassy, Paul, Josh, Sam, Shannon, Dallas, Samantha, Kelsey, Nick and Derrick; his great grandchildren, Madison, Brayden, Abby, Savannah, Addison, Kaylee, JP, Brianna, Lesley, Jaylon, Huner, Aubree, Delilah, Dylan, Trey, Reagan, Benjamin, Jonathan, Liliana, Asher, Luke, Crew, Ramsey, Natalie, Harper, Delaney, Benton and Bradley; and his great great grandchild Easton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Miller Funeral Home (1941 Carter Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lloyd First Baptist Church (87 Church St, Lloyd, KY 41144).
