He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sidney and Susie Campbell Blakey; and his pet Ollie. He is survived by: his wife Christine Grider Blakey of Russell Springs; his children, Tiffany Eberhard (Brian) of Franklin, Adam Blakey (Amy) of Richmond, Virginia and Jason Blakey (Autumn Taylor) of Sappington, Missouri; his siblings, John Blakey (Marilyn) of Columbia, Kenneth Blakey (Ann) of Russell Springs, Faye Morgan (late Edwin) of Jamestown, Joyce Conner (Randall) of Jamestown and JoNell Selby (late Joe Keith) of Russell Springs; and his grandsons, Brady Eberhard, Blakey Eberhard, Sully Blakey and Theo Blakey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Russell County Honor Guard. Donations can be made at the funeral home.
