He is survived by: his wife Joyce Conover Coffey; his children, Dr. Scott Coffey (Vicki) of Fishers, Indiana, Dr. Brian Coffey (Angela) of Manhattan, Kansas and Drs; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Megan Coffey, Jadon, Ella, Cora Coffey, Piper, Lila, Levi, Easton and Declan McReynolds; and his brothers, Gary Mitchell, Mark Murray and Tim Murray.
In Iieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Lexington, Kentucky or New Hope Separate Baptist Church in Columbia.
