He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Egger and Maxine Hood Egger; his wife Shirley McQueen Egger; and his siblings, Conly Egger, Edeline Harper and Hilda Burdine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patti Carter (Chuck) of Nashville, TN and Debbie Blankenship (Charles) of Russell Springs; his sister Bertha Sullivan of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Erin Blankenship Potts (Chris), Joshua Carter (Emily), Morgan Carter Bowden (Britt) and Grayson Blankenship (Beth); and his great grandchildren, Sawyer Potts, Sutton Potts, Emory Bowden, Blakely Bowden, Henry Carter and Miles Carter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gideon's International. Donations can be made at the funeral home.
