With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert Begley of Russell Springs, Kentucky, born in Beattyville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilgus Begley and Bertie Mae Begley (Tirey); and his siblings, Ruth Durbin, Lucille Begley, Lucinda Begley, Elizabeth Horn, Olema Begley, Viola Tharp, John Begley, Billy Begley and Betty Hollon.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene Begley (Mumm); his children, Barry (Tina) and Carrie Charles (Begley) of Beavercreek, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Katy Rexroat (Andrew), Lenna Charles, Bo Begley, Levi Charles and Brooke Begley; and his great grandchildren, Aubriegh Charles, Austin Keister, Bryant Rexroat and Benson Rexroat. He is also survived by father figure to many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Cornerstone Baptist Temple, Dayton, Ohio.
