It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Russ of Russell Springs, Kentucky, born in Columbia, Kentucky, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Judith had on those she encountered along her journey. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Inas Winfred "Winnie" Foley Barger and Larry Ray Barger; her daughters, Melissa Hall of Russell Springs, KY and Nancy Wheat (Gary) of Russell Springs, KY.; her brothers, Ores Barger (Ronella) of Russell Springs, KY and Michael Barger (Adell) of Russell Springs, KY.; her grandsons, Shawn Russ and Jarrod Wheat; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Hazel Russ and Emmalyn Wheat; and her husband Clifford Albert Russ.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (391 E Steve Wariner Dr, Russell Springs, KY 42642). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
