Paul Edward Roy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Edward Roy of Russell Springs, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Roy and Mary Scales Roy; his former wife Judy Miller Roy; and his brothers, James Roy and Wilbur Roy.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Blair Roy; his children, Paul Anthony Roy (Jacquie) of Lancaster, Stephen Roy (Angie) of Nancy and Jamie Polston (David) of Campbellsville, Kentucky; his stepchildren, Teresa Hart (Wayne) of Russell Springs and Kevin Blair of Louisville, Kentucky.; his siblings, L. T. Roy (Zola) of Campbellsville and Rosemary Hart (Dean) of Jamestown, Kentucky; his siblings-in-law, Arlis "Butch" Miller (Shelly) of Russell Springs and Mary Gossett (Steve) of Glasgow, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Christen Roseberry (Jonathan) of Lancaster, Todd Polston (Brook) of Campbellsville, Bradley Roy (Danielle) of Lancaster, Evan Roy (Madeline) of Tucson, Arizona and Kyle Roy (Monica) of Pompano Beach, Florida.; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Avery Roseberry, Ryan Rose, Maverick Todd Polston, Lucas, Branson Roy and Jett William Roy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (391 E Steve Wariner Dr, Russell Springs, KY 42642). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to either Hosparus Health Green River, 462 N Bypass Road, Campbellsville, Kentucky 42718, or Bengal Family Care Home, 2480 Old Lebanon Road, Campbellsville, Kentucky 42718. Donations may also be made at the funeral home.
