She was predeceased by : her parents, Oves Cardell and Elizabeth Ballenger Chapman; her former life partner Harry Gene Watts; her brother Ronnie Chapman; and her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Grider and John Sweigart.

She is survived by : her husband Francis "Curt" Wethington; her son Daryl Watts (Beverly) of Russell Springs; her siblings, Rudy Chapman (Jenny) of Jamestown, John Chapman (Jo) of Indiana, Cathy Grider of Indiana and Lucy Sweigart of Indiana; her sister-in-law Jackie Chapman of Jamestown; her granddaughters, Hannah York (Jesse) and Dana Watts; and her great grandchild Molly Mae York.
