He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John B., Lavon Applegate, Harold and Olive Means. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Jay and Carolyn Applegate; his sister Traci McBee (Matthew) of Concord; and his nieces, Alyssa McBee Garcia (Grant) and Victoria "Tori" McBee. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
